  • No outside food or beverages are allowed. Baby formula, baby bottles, or young child's sippy cup are allowed.

  • No, there is no admission cost for children ages 3 or younger.

  • Admission on Thursday and Friday is FREE for everyone before 5pm, and this year we’re offering a special admission rate to Royal Oak residents throughout the weekend! After 5pm, admission will be $5 for Royal Oak residents and $10 for the general public.

    On Saturday & Sunday admission for the general public is $5 before 5pm and $10 after 5pm. We’re offering Royal Oak residents FREE admission on Saturday & Sunday before 5pm & $5 admission after 5pm!

    PLEASE NOTE: Any person under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian OR an adult 25 or over at all times after 7pm. 

    The following items are prohibited:

    Pets (Service animals require certification)

    Coolers, Carts or Wagons

    Chairs

    Bikes, Skateboards or similar devices

    Unlawful weapons

  • Royal Oak residents receive discounted admission to Rock’n’Rides. Admission for Royal Oak residents is free on any day before 5pm, and $5 after.

    Royal Oak Resident Admission Policy

    • FREE Admission prior to 5pm

    • 50% Discounted Admission after 5pm ($5)

    Resident admission rules:

    • Residents 16 years of age and older must provide proof of residency – a valid driver’s license, any governmental photo ID, or school ID.

    • Royal Oak household members under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over 25 years of age at time of admission.

    • Free and discounted admission for residents under 16 is limited to four household members per entry, and all household members must be accompanied by their direct parent or guardian to receive resident discount.

    • All Royal Oak event curfew policies apply to resident admissions.

  • Downtown Royal Oak has lots of parking options in structures, surface lots and parking meters. All Parking Garages are free for the first two hours free and $0.75 per hour afterward. Free on Sunday! Locations below:

    7. East Lincoln & Troy Lots

    3 parking lots located at 211 and 220 E. Lincoln

  • All day carnival bands are $20 on Thursday, June 16 and $30 Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19. Carnival bands will be sold from open to 8:30pm on Thursday, June 16 through Saturday, June 18 and until 6:30pm on Sunday, June 19.

    Individual rides range between $3 and $6.

  • Please keep in mind the following health and safety guidelines when attending Rock’N’Rides:

    • Social Distancing and Masks recommended for unvaccinated guests.

    • Masks and hand sanitizer are available at each gate

    • Hand Sanitizer stations are available through out the event site.

    • Please do not enter if you have tested positive for Covid-19, are waiting on Covid-19 test results, have Covid-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive. For reference, Covid-19 symptoms include the following: Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea

  • The festival is located in Royal Oak City Parking Lots between 5th and 7th Street. It includes 5th Street from Center to Washington, 6th Street from Main to Washington and 7th Street from Main to Center.
